Washington State's first luxury campground sits on the Olympic Peninsula, perched above the Salish Sea in old-growth coastal forest — just 15 minutes north of Olympic National Park.

Three private basecamps. No shared spaces. No other guests in sight. Each one built around a proprietary blackout tent, an artisan-designed floating bathhouse with private cedar sauna by award-winning architects GO'C and a private deck overlooking the Strait of Juan de Fuca.

Forest Cocooning is a nature-immersion practice pioneered by Menizei — the first practice to deliberately integrate shinrin-yoku, Attention Restoration Theory and relationship science into a framework for couples. It's not a spa treatment or an activity itinerary. It's a physiological premise: that extended immersion in a coastal forest, combined with privacy, disconnection and shared ritual, measurably restores the nervous system and supports emotional attunement between partners. The practice can be experienced passively — by simply being here — or deepened through three optional self-guided rituals. The word didn't exist because neither did the practice. We built both.

They share the same standard — total privacy, Salish Sea views, full amenities. What differs is seclusion depth and forest character. Twin Cedars is our most private (longest walk, deepest in the trees). Red Alder offers the most dramatic arrival — a high-impact reveal at the final turn. Grand Fir sits among the tallest conifers with unfettered views and the most commanding scale.
